The opportunity to dine with the Warren Buffett for charity is already worth more than two million dollars. And it could be more. On Monday, $2.35 million was offered for a dinner with the billionaire and up to seven other guests at the Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse in Manhattan. This year’s auction for the appointment with the star investor began on Sunday evening on the eBay online platform and will end on June 17th. The seven-digit amount was reached within seven hours.
Nicknamed “The Oracle of Omaha,” Buffett is known for making the right decisions most of the time in the stock market. Its investments are therefore closely followed by investors. However, questions about current and future investment plans are taboo during dinner. Otherwise you can talk to the fifth richest man in the world – whose fortune is estimated at 106 billion dollars – about everything, it said.
