One of the Biggest Bitcoin Supporters Deleted BTC From His Profile: Did He Leave Bitcoin?

Anthony Pompliano, co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, is the world’s largest Bitcoin (BTC) as one of his supporters, he had acquired an important role for himself.

However, social media users recently noticed that Pompliano no longer uses laser eyes to represent BTC on Twitter. The famous influencer also removed the “#Bitcoin” text from his profile.

The thought that Pompliano had given up on his position that he had defended for a long time became the agenda on social media.

Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz commented on this social media profile that “this is ridiculous”, urging Pompliano to keep his faith despite the price drop.

Pompliano, the former product manager of Facebook, had built a significant following on social media by shaping his entire personality around Bitcoin.

Recently, however, Pompliano’s Twitter feed contains nothing but “inspirational” quotes, apparently generated by an AI bot.

Although Pompliano continues to occasionally post about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies it’s clear that he’s in the background for it.

Has Pompliano Abandoned Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies?

In a Substack post published earlier today, Pompliano clarified that he had not changed his mind “on any subject”, referring to the Twitter rumors.

The Bitcoin evangelist also added that his belief in the world’s largest cryptocurrency is “stronger than ever”. The influencer claims that BTC will become “much more valuable” in the future.

The famous name also says that Bitcoin has made him a more humble person. Pompliano cited posts in 2019, where he claimed that the BTC price will reach $100,000 by the end of 2021, as an example.

Pompliano also says he regrets linking his entire identity to Bitcoin, so he chose to remove the laser eyes and hashtag from his profile.
