On the National Combat Aircraft landing gear!

Related institutions such as the Presidency of Defense Industries and TAI continue their work on aircraft without slowing down. Finally, the production and assembly of the front, middle and rear fuselage parts for the National Combat Aircraft (MMU/TF-X) was completed. Today, the image appeared, in which the landing gear and tail parts are integrated.

National Combat Aircraft prototype assembly has come to an end!

After Hürkuş, TAI continues to work on the production of Hürjet and National Combat Aircraft. The video of the 2nd prototype of Hürjet, which came off the assembly line in the past days, was shared out of the hangar. Although no visual of the first one has been published, it is said that ground tests have started in the past months.

Today, after the assembly of the fuselage parts, the National Combat Aircraft (MMU / TF-X), whose visuals were published by TAI, completed the assembly phase of the rear tail parts and landing gear. Although there is no official sharing yet, the photos of the final version became the agenda on social media.

Unexpected surprise from TAI! Here is Anka-3/ MIUS

The first images for the MIUS (unmanned warplane) secretly developed by TAI were shared. Also, the flight date has been announced.

In the photos we shared below, you can see the difference between the completed body assembly and the design planned for mass production. It is planned to use F-16 (F-110) in the prototype, and domestic engines produced by TEI in mass production. Another detail that attracted attention was that the infrared search and tracking (IRST) sensor was adapted to the 5th generation until its design.

MMU/TF-X features

  • Length: 21 meters
  • wingspan: 14 meters
  • Height: 6 meters
  • Impulse: 2x 29.000-2x 32.500 lbs (2x F110)/ TEI production 2x 35.000 lbs
  • service ceiling: 55,000+ ft
  • Maximum speed: 1.8 Mach
  • G limits: +9g / -3.5g
  • Avionics:
    • ASELSAN’s domestic AESA radar integrated RF system (BURFIS)
    • SAR (Synthetic aperture radar system)
    • IRST (Infrared seek and track) sensor
    • EOTS (Electro-optical targeting system)
    • Helmet mounted sight system
  • Other:
    • High maneuverability and a powerful propulsion system
    • supernavigation capability
    • Long radius of action
    • Low visibility on radar
    • Sensor fusion
    • Advanced data link capabilities
    • Ability to fire high precision ammunition
