The US chip manufacturer announced a sales forecast for the current first quarter of 6.5 billion dollars with a range of two percent on Wednesday after the market closed. According to Refinitiv data, analysts are expecting $6.3 billion. In the fourth quarter just ended, the world’s largest manufacturer of graphics chips performed better than forecast with sales of 6.05 billion dollars. The Nvidia share initially gained seven percent in after-hours trading.
