Nvidia broke a record with its artificial intelligence accelerator GPU

Nvidia achieved a record growth of 206 percent in the third quarter of 2023 compared to last year. However, contrary to predictions, this record growth is not due to the sales of RTX graphics cards. Accordingly, the artificial intelligence trend pleased Nvidia the most. Here is Nvidia’s record revenue and source.

Nvidia reached the top in artificial intelligence accelerator GPU sales

Nvidia, which has a significant market in the graphics card market, is experiencing a significant increase in revenue. The company, which has made major investments in artificial intelligence, is now reaping the fruits of this investment. Accordingly, Nvidia announced revenue of $18.12 billion in the 3rd quarter. $14.51 billion of this revenue came from sources that are not intended for the end user, such as artificial intelligence accelerator GPU units such as the H200 Tensor Core and cloud services.

Although Nvidia increased its RTX graphics card revenues compared to last year, the company fell short of its targets this year as well. In this sense, the company has lost great blood in graphics card sales since 2022. Between 2020 and 22, RTX graphics cards played a major role in cryptocurrency production. In fact, for a while it was not possible to find high-end RTX graphics cards on the market.

In this sense, the company fell 51 percent behind its targets in 2022 revenues. At that time, Nvidia RTX generated only $1.58 billion in revenue from graphics cards. In the third quarter, the company managed to increase this revenue to 2.86 billion dollars.

Did artificial intelligence work for Microsoft Edge? The most used browsers have been revealed

The most used web browsers as of October 2023 have been announced. Google Chrome, as you can guess, is in first place. Here is the list…

The company does not have a serious competitor on the artificial intelligence accelerator GPU side. However, there is a possibility that both AMD and Intel will focus on this large market. Experts are of the opinion that even if the artificial intelligence trend slows down, it will not end. In this sense, there is a high probability that Nvidia revenues will continue to break records with artificial intelligence. Especially companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google are increasing their investments in artificial intelligence day by day.

It is a matter of curiosity whether competitors such as AMD and Intel will enter the artificial intelligence accelerator GPU market. Do you think Nvidia will scale back its graphics card production for end users after this huge revenue difference? We are waiting your comments.
