  • One of the biggest whales on ETH is worth almost six million dollars in decline Chainlink (LINK) While buying, the popular cryptocurrency took the first place in 2 lists showing the buying habits of whales in the last 24 hours.

Crypto tracker WhaleStats, which tracks the top 100 wallets on Ethereum, BSC, and other blockchains, noted that a whale dubbed crypto wallet “Three Arrows” conducted three transactions to purchase Chainlink’s native token, LINK.

These transfers were worth $1,872,572 each and consisted of 135,989 tokens. Following these transactions, LINK has moved up to the top of the list of most popular assets for trading among whales.

Top 10 whales got 408 million LINK at the bottom

The owner of the wallet, which bought 408 million LINK, ranks 10th among the 100 largest investors in the Ethereum blockchain.

Whale spent a little over $5.5 million on these three LINK transactions. Whale used a popular “bottom” buying strategy, taking advantage of the downtrend in the market to sell later when the price rose.

As of the time of writing, LINK is trading at $13.96 with a slight recovery of 2 percent in the last 24 hours. The popular oracle network has dropped 12 percent in the last seven days.

LINK becomes the favorite coin of ETH whales

Chainlink’s native cryptocurrency currently ranks first in both metrics for the largest Ethereum whales, according to data provided by WhaleStats.

LINK currently ranks first on the list of the most widely held and most traded tokens by giant ETH investors. It also ranks fifth in the list of the 10 most purchased cryptocurrencies.

Generally speaking, the largest ETH whales hold 12,949,465 LINKs worth $180,685,031. This accounts for 2.02 percent of the crypto portfolios of ETH wallets.

Here are the other coins the whales are stockpiling

According to WhaleStats data, the Shiba Inu meme coin currently ranks first in USD value. Whales hold 53,604,500,817,986 SHIBs worth $1,393,164,908.

Other assets that whales are chasing include ApeCoin (APE). In the past few hours, the ninth largest wallet titled “BlueWhale0093” has purchased 324,998 APEs worth about $4 million.

APE is up 2.2 percent in the last 24 hours, changing hands at $12.37 at the time of writing, according to CoinMarketCap.

Alongside these cryptocurrencies, whales bought another 1,499,990 Polygon (MATIC) worth $2 million. MATIC, LINK, SHIB, and FTX have continued to be whales’ favorite holdings over the past few months, thanks to speculation and long-term holdings.
