The Spider-Man series, which received congratulations with the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, continues to wreak havoc with its games and now its series. With the release of Spider-Man Miles Morales game on PC, the news expected by the series came after the series started to rise again.
Sony continues to expand the universe with new Spider-Man series!
Sony has joined forces with Amazon to expand the Spider-Man universe. While Amazon is undertaking the production of multiple Spider-Man series, the first of these will be Silk: Spider Society. Firstly, the series will be broadcast on the American channel MGM + owned by Amazon, and then they will be opened to the world with Amazon Prime Video.
The series, which is about the Korean-American superhero Silk, will feature the story of Cindy Moon, who was bitten by the spider that bit Peter Parker. We will watch Moon’s transformation into a superhero named Silk, who managed to escape from prison and started to search for his missing family.
The set image on Madame Web is mind blowing! New Spider-Man coming?
A new image has emerged from the set of the Madame Web movie, which Sony has recently started shooting for. The image, on the other hand, caused a question mark in the minds.
Angela Kang, known as the writer of The Walking Dead, will undertake the script of the series. The executive producers will be Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who previously worked together on Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse animation. It is not yet clear whether Tiffany Espensen, who plays Cindy Moon in Spider: Man Homecoming and Avengers Infinity War, will appear in the series. Also on the producing staff is Amy Pascal, former Sony Pictures president.
Speaking to Variety, Amazon Studios President Jennifer Salke made the following statements:
The animation, with Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Sony’s recent remake of the Spider-Man franchise, was one of the best possible storytelling in a superhero movie. With the creativity of Angela Kang, we could not be more pleased to present Silk: Spider Society to our MGM+ and Prime Video customers.
Silk: Spider Society isn’t the only one coming from the Spider: Man universe. Madame Web, starring Dakota Johnson, is about to complete its shooting. The release date of the movie was announced as February 16, 2024. The third Venom movie has also been announced, with Tom Hardy reprising the role of Venom/Eddie Brock.
