The new regulation, which will especially affect the automobile market in the purchase and sale of second-hand vehicles, has been published in the Official Gazette today.
From now on, second-hand advertisement sites will send the second-hand car advertisements with a price more expensive than the zero price and the information of the people who opened the advertisements directly to the Ministry of Commerce. Then, criminal action will be taken against the persons mentioned. The opportunists who heard this, on the other hand, took a path that would be considered funny. They deleted one or two zeros from the prices in the advertisements they opened.
For example, opportunistic dealers and sellers bought a brand new Fiat Egea. The cheapest Egea has a price tag of 643 thousand 900 TL on the website of the brand (6 July 2023 price list). Later, these opportunistic friends put the vehicles in the ad for 700 thousand TL. However, a new regulation came out from the Ministry of Commerce at night. According to the regulation, no second hand car can be sold more expensive than new. In order not to be caught, the aforementioned friends showed it as 70,000 TL, not 700,000 TL.
