A new gameplay video of EA FC rival GOALS, which was developed by Stockholm-based studio GOALS and will be available for open beta testing on Steam in September, has been leaked. And by the founder of the studio that developed the game!
GOALS looks like it will have arcade gameplay
GOALS, the game of the same name developed by GOALS studio, founded by former Counter-Strike world champion Andreas Thorstensson and of which he is the creative director, is on its way to become a rival of EA FC.
We don’t have many details yet about the game, which will be available in open beta on Steam next September. However, in the gameplay video you can watch above, we can deduce that the game will have an arcade gameplay style.
The graphics of the game also do not care about realism. According to Andreas’ statements, the game; It gives importance to ‘reaction’ before football, league and player licenses and graphic realism. The game strives to allow you to make the move you think of during the match, moment by moment.
This is one of the situations that eFootball (PES) or EA FC (FIFA) players often complain about: “I didn’t throw that ball there!” This is the one thing Andreas doesn’t want to happen in GOALS. Of course, artificial intelligence must also be superior in this case. If you wish, you can access the Steam page of the game, which will be released in 2025 and enter open beta in September 2024, here.
It looks like we now have one more EA FC rival with the UFL. We no longer include eFootball in this comparison because… You know why. What do you think about the GOALS gameplay video? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
