Each of us needs a digital identity that we have, that keeps all of our items safe and private. This self-identity should be easy to use and give us full control over how our identity data is accessed and used. I am excited to announce the next important milestone to make this vision a reality. As the newest member to join the Microsoft Entra portfolio, we are announcing the general availability (GA) of Entra Verified ID.

Generally speaking, Entra Verified ID allows Azure users to publish, request, and verify credentials to represent employment, education, or other claims. In addition, the company stated in its blog post that Azure AD customers can choose how users can design and publish their verifiable credentials, as well as choose when and with whom they share it.
