New design! MMU KAAN anti-radar paint and its features!

National Combat Aircraft KAAN, one of Turkey’s biggest national defense industry moves, is now cooler. MMU KAAN, produced by Turkish Aerospace Industries, took to the podium with its new design. We can say that the plane is much cooler now. Here are the MMU KAAN design and anti-radar paint details…

It emerged with a new paint design! Here are MMU KAAN anti-radar paint and its features

As it is known, National Combat Aircraft KAAN is an anti-radar fighter jet. However, the aircraft can act as a complete stealth aircraft and will carry out its missions without being caught by enemy lines. Of course, it owes this feature to its special paint as well as its radar systems.

TAI General Manager Temel Kotil made a statement on the subject recently. In his statement, Kotil stated that the paint in question was produced locally in Turkey and had a quality above standards. However, the painted version of MMU KAAN was quite curious.

Anti-radar paint has not been applied to the aircraft yet. The paint in question is currently being subjected to the necessary tests in private laboratories and improvements are being made. However, to quell the curiosity of MMU KAAN fans and to show the plane itself fully, TAI painted the plane.

In the video shared by TAI’s official Twitter account with the tag “Art for us”, MMU KAAN showed his new painting on the podium. The new two-color design, which continues with dashed lines from front to back to represent the speed and power of the aircraft, was highly appreciated. In addition, the plane carries the name KAAN on both sides to greet those who have just met it.

However, there is also news regarding the dimensional design of the aircraft. According to preliminary information, the size of the aircraft will be reduced, albeit slightly. It is expected that a reduction will be made especially in the area where the AESA radar is located at the front and in the flaps.

Information about anti-radar paint is that the paint is currently 97 percent successful. Thanks to the electromagnetic wave dampening surface on the paint, it ensures that the plane is not visible on radars or is overlooked by being seen as too small on extremely sensitive radars.
