Justin Sun said that in 2023, at least five countries aim to make Tron a legal tender:
“My goal for 2023 is to get 5 countries to accept TRX as legal tender.
By 2023, TRX will be widely accepted and used as a legal tender in at least 5 countries, and cryptocurrencies I hope its wider adoption is just the beginning.
This is an ambitious goal, but I am confident that with hard work and dedication we can make it a reality.
Together, we can pave the way for cryptocurrencies to be more widely accepted and used as legal tender.”

In addition, Sun argued that crypto users should not focus on the USA, the rest of the world is much more crowded:
“As we work for TRX to be accepted as a legal tender, let’s not be too US-based. US regulation is important, but we must focus on the 8 billion people in the world. While the US is just one country and a major player in the crypto world, it is not the only one.
If 7.7 billion people around the world adopt crypto as a legal tender, I believe 300 million people in the US will eventually follow suit.
