Turkey’s domestic electric car startup Togg entered the pre-mass production testing process. It has been shared that various crash and safety tests have been carried out in the past days. Now, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank shared a video of them driving the car with other ministers on social media.
Togg is getting ready to get off the production line!
In the post made by Mustafa Varank, the video of the final version of the car, which had just passed the mass production line and underwent crash tests during this period, with various changes and developments, was shared by the Bursa Governor and Members of Parliament, especially the Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati.
As far as we can see in the shared video, we estimate that the 0-100 acceleration of 4.8 seconds, four-wheel drive and 320 KW – 430 horsepower version was used in the past period, the data of which was shared. Because when Varank presses the gas pedal, all passengers move backwards due to high acceleration, just like we see in Tesla vehicles. In addition, in the video, it is said that even though there are 4 people in the vehicle, it is possible to go from 0 to 100 in 4.5 seconds. Therefore, it is clearly seen that some improvements have been made in the car.
It is expected that Togg will start the mass production process by completing all test processes in the second half of this year, and the first cars to come off the production line will go on sale in the first quarter of 2023. Of course, as with the features of the vehicle, the date is not yet certain. But we know that the factory is almost ready for these processes.

Togg has completed the 1.6 kilometer test track!
