Among these considered measures, the minimum wage increase more than the inflation rate and tax deductions on wages including such measures.
Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, made statements supporting these efforts in his statement today. Answering the questions of journalists after the cabinet meeting, Bilgin said:We have a study on this. We examine alternative tax models. Legislation is enough for some, President’s decision is enough for others.” he said.

Bilgin stated that they have a goal regarding the minimum wage and announced that the survey will be in their hands before December, and that the expectations of the public will be announced according to the results of the survey.
