Berlin According to Reuters information, Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil wants to raise the statutory minimum wage to twelve euros in one step on October 1 of this year. This would mean a wage increase for around 6.2 million employees, according to the SPD politician’s draft law, which was presented to the Reuters news agency on Friday. The minimum wage is currently €9.82 per hour.
