Scott Minerd, CIO of Guggenheim Partners, died of a heart attack on December 21.
According to a statement by Guggenheim Partners, 63-year-old Minerd suffered a heart attack after exercising regularly.
Minerd, one of the famous names in the traditional finance world, also made many predictions about the crypto money market.
In December 2020, when the bitcoin (BTC) price was around $20,000, bitcoin’s Value of “400 thousand dollars” Saying that it should be, Minerd had made a more pessimistic forecast in the past months.
In his statements dated May 2022, Minerd said, “If you cannot maintain the level of 30 thousand dollars, the lowest point of it is 8 thousand dollars. So I think it is possible for the price of (bitcoin) to go much lower.” he said.
