“YouTube was not allowed to delete the artist videos – that made me happy”

The first topic of the evening – no excitement, but a topic that Nena Schink was happy about: “Today YouTube lost to the artists of the ‘Everything on the table’ campaign. A court has ruled: The internet platform was not allowed to delete the artists’ videos. “

Schink: “I was pleased. Because: Only half of Germans still dare to speak their political opinion – the verdict is an important sign. “

“Not every critic is a denier,” says medical historian, specialist nurse and politician Monja Schünemann, but she also warns: “Some opinions – which are misunderstood or implemented – have to be paid dearly.”

BILD Politics boss Jan Schäfer: “It is currently very, very difficult to say which opinion is right or wrong – because there are so many facts, some of which cannot be properly understood.” He mentions the corrected ones as an example Numbers from the RKI how many Germans have been vaccinated completely or at least once. “The RKI has always been considered the authority in this pandemic. It was almost blasphemous to question something here, ”says Schäfer.

Islam expert Ahmad Mansour brings another aspect into the discussion, he asks: “How much power can Youtube, but also Google, Twitter or Facebook have over our political discourse?”

“I also think that the verdict was important today,” says the former head of the CDU Thuringia Mohring. “Because we have a plurality of opinions in this country – and it is dangerous that many people feel that they are no longer allowed to express their opinion.”

Mansour: “We have to get out of the one-dimensional view of this disease”

“After the election, the CDU was like a chicken pile”

“The CDU needs a fresh start,” says Mike Mohring, explaining his topic of the evening. “That was what the federal executive committee of the CDU initiated today. There is now finally a clear timetable. ”

On Monday the party decided that the entire board would be re-elected.

▶ ︎ Mohring’s outlook: “Then the party will be reorganized and then there must be an end to personnel debates. Then content has to be discussed again – and a bourgeois conservative party is needed. “

But Schäfer curbs Mohring’s optimism: “I think the two points ‘new beginning’ and ‘orderly’ are mutually exclusive.” He believes that such a new beginning must “come from below, it needs creativity”. Schäfer also believes: “It will be a very, very long and painful process for the CDU.”

No contradiction from Mohring, nevertheless he says: “It is important that there is an orderly procedure first. What we experienced in the last few weeks after the election was like a pile of chickens – everyone made a suggestion, everyone meant it well. But there was no longer any order. And that is the most dangerous thing for a party that claims to be a people’s party: to be perceived as leaderless. ”That is why today and today’s decision was important.

For the reorganization of the party, Mohring recommends “package solutions”, he says: “It will be exciting, because it is about the question of the party chairman, the general secretary and the parliamentary group chairman – I can only recommend my party to look at these packages as a whole in order to achieve pacification get it. Otherwise we’ll talk about the party chairmanship in January and talk about the parliamentary group chairmanship in March. “

Mohring also makes it clear: For him, the traffic light is not yet history. “One thing is clear, now the traffic lights will be negotiated, but if the traffic lights fail, the CDU will be available.”

Mansour believes that a new beginning for the CDU needs an emancipation from Merkel. Mohring assures: “That will happen. There is now an epoch-making change, the chancellorship is over, plus the role of the opposition – that does something to a party. “

“The next federal government must put an inflation stop sign.”

“At a petrol station in Berlin today, a liter of fuel cost 2 euros for the first time”, annoyed Jan Schäfer.

“But petrol is not the only thing that has become particularly expensive in these months and weeks, it is also about gas, it is about heating oil or even daily shopping. The inflation rate in September was 4.1 percent, there are experts who are even predicting an inflation rate of 5 percent for the next few months, ”said Schäfer.

Schäfer therefore says: “It is up to the next federal government to put a stop sign against inflation.”

Mohring agrees, he believes: “Inflation will become a stress test for the traffic lights. Because that does not work: climate investments, tax relief and still see that the prices remain stable. “

Mohring’s demand: “That is the first homework for the new government.”

Mansour last noticed on Sunday how expensive refueling has become. He says: “Like many others, I depend on the car – that is not a luxury!” In rural areas in particular, people depend on a car, says Mohring: “Anyone who is out in the country sees what life really is like . “

And Schünemann also says: “I think these are hip debates that we have here in a huge city, where I can go out of the house and have an underground or S-Bahn right outside the door. Two thirds of Germans don’t live in the city at all, they live in the country – and a car is essential there. “

“Everything that the German believes about nursing, he has learned from the Black Forest Clinic”

“All of the last year it has been confirmed that we have understood how important care is. But now the nurses are demonstrating – without anyone reporting it, ”said Monja Schünemann annoyed.

She is also annoyed about the promotions of celebrities who also want to work a shift to “get a glimpse”. “That simply shows how little they know about the actual task and the lack of respect for it,” says the specialist nurse. “You can’t even try that out quickly!”

Schäfer can’t quite understand the anger: “Actually, everyone who is in the nursing profession should be happy when actors or journalists come to the clinics and see what the nurses are doing.”

“A clinic is not a zoo,” says Schünemann. “Everything that Germans believe about nursing, he has learned from the Black Forest Clinic. Nursing is a tough job that demands a lot of specialist knowledge, strength, empathy and social performance. It’s not a job that everyone can do just like that – and not even quickly. ”

“I don’t think it’s so bad when such a celebrity directs awareness in intensive care units,” says Mike Mohring. “It also attracts attention – even if it’s only for a moment.”

Schünemann: “Nursing care has its own prominent voices that have to be heard.”

“90 percent of corona intensive care patients are people with a migration background – the problem must be named”

Ahmad Mansour is annoyed on Monday: “90 percent of the intensive care patients in the Corona wards are people with a migration background – but why are we still not able to talk about this problem, why is it such a taboo?”

Mansour: “I’m not about blaming people for being sick. I want to talk about the background: Why do people with a migrant background fall ill with Corona more often and more severely? This problem must be clearly stated. “

Mansour demands: “We need awareness campaigns on site where the people are. Education campaigns to protect against corona and especially for vaccination. “

Mohring also finds it important that the topic is discussed: “You can only solve a problem if you talk about the topic.”
