Microsoft will produce gaming PC with Intel processor

Microsoft, which managed to win the admiration of users with its Surface family, pressed the button for its new laptop model. According to the leaked information, Microsoft has completed its work for the gaming computer called Surface Gaming Laptop.

It is stated that the new model will be introduced with two different hardware options. Intel Core i5-12500H will be used in the middle segment version and Core i7-12700H will be used in the upper segment version.

The Core i7-12700H, a member of the Alder Lake-P family, is produced with 10nm technology. The processor with a TDP of 45W has 14 cores / 20 threads. Core i7-12700H, which is assertive about performance, can work in the range of 1.7GHz to 4.7GHz. The L3 cache amount of the processor is specified as 24 MB.

The Intel Core i5-12500H model is also produced with 10nm technology like the i7-12700H. The processor, which has a TDP of 45W, comes with 12 cores / 16 threads. Working in the 1.8GHz to 4.5GHz clock speed range, the L3 cache amount of the processor is stated as 18 MB.

In the model, which will be called the flagship, the RTX 3070 Ti graphics card will be used together with the Core i7-12700H. The graphics card, which comes with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and a 256-bit memory bus, has a very high power consumption with a TDP of 80W.

The Core i5-12500H processor version will have an RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. The graphics card, built on the Ampere architecture, has 4 GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory bus. The video card, which comes with a TDP of 60W, is produced with 8nm technology.

The leaked model, which will be introduced with a 16-inch screen, will have a screen refresh rate of 165Hz. The device, which comes out with 1440p resolution, will have 16 GB and 32 GB RAM options. On the storage side, there are 256 GB and 2 TB options.
