Bangalore The outages in certain Microsoft services earlier this month are due to cyber attacks. “Starting in early June 2023, Microsoft noticed an increase in traffic on some services that temporarily impacted availability,” the company said in a blog post.
According to the software house, there is no evidence that customer data was accessed or that it was endangered. Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request from Reuters if the company could identify the organization responsible for the attack. An investigation has been launched and tracking of DDoS activities has begun.
