Melania Trump, wife of former US President Donald Trump, announced that she stepped into the world of NFT to take advantage of the growing popularity of the cryptocurrency industry.
Former First Lady put her first NFT called “Melania’s vision” for sale on “Melania Trump NFT Platform”.
Melania Trump, NFT platform built on the Solana blockchain, will accept credit card payments through Moon pay as well as payments made with Solana.
The first limited edition NFT that embodies Melania Trump’s eyes using the watercolor technique will be available for purchase for 1 Solana between December 16 and December 31, 2021. The first NFT available for sale also includes a message of hope recorded with Melania Trump’s own voice.
Melania Trump said in a statement:
“I am proud to announce my new NFT work, which embodies my passion for the arts and will support my continued commitment to children through my Be Best initiative.
Through this new technology-based platform, we will enable children to learn computer science, programming and software development to be successful.”
Melania Trump, who has not been around since Donald Trump’s departure from the presidency, will continue to publish NFTs at regular intervals with a one-of-a-kind auction scheduled for January 2022.
