MediaTek has become the new leader of the processor market!
According to the first quarter 2022 reports of the mobile processor market, MediaTek was the best-selling manufacturer. Right behind are Qualcomm and Apple. But when we look at income ratios, things change. Because there is a big difference between the chip costs of flagship and entry segment devices.
As you can see in the lists below, 38 percent of the smartphone market currently prefers MediaTek. However, when we look at the revenue side, the market share declines to 19 percent. On the other hand, Apple and Qualcomm are among those who profit the most from this business.

According to the leaked information, TSMC will start production with 3nm technology for the Apple M2 Pro processor in the third quarter of 2022.
As Samsung and HiSilicon (Huawei) mostly produce chips for their own devices, their market shares are quite limited. Especially after the US embargo, Huawei, which once played in the top 3, now has a market share of 1 percent.
