Master Analyst Announces Altcoin Projects in His Basket and Trusted!

The host of the popular crypto YouTube channel “BitBoy Crypto” shared three altcoin projects he believes every crypto investor should have in their portfolio.

“These altcoin projects should be in baskets!”

Crypto analyst Ben Armstrong said, “Bitcoin dominance never goes above 50% again. What a great time to be alive!” he began. He then shared three altcoin projects he thinks crypto investors should have in their portfolios:

If you don’t have ETH, XRP, and ADA in your portfolios, you’re doing it wrong.

So the question is, why would anyone be so optimistic about these crypto assets? The reason may be that there are ascension narratives around all three of them.

Leading altcoin Ethereum (ETH) enters the basket first

The primary factor that gives Ethereum a bullish feel is the approaching Merge. The Ethereum Foundation explains Merge as follows:

Merge represents the merging of the existing Ethereum execution layer with the new PoS consensus layer, the Beacon Chain. It eliminates the need for energy-intensive mining. Instead, it secures the network using staked ETH.

It’s important to remember that initially the Beacon Chain was shipped separately from the main-net. The Ethereum main-net Beacon Chain continues to be secured with PoW even when running in parallel using PoS. With the upcoming Merge, these two systems will finally come together. Merge refers to the time when PoW was permanently replaced by PoS.

The second project that the analyst said should be in the basket is Ripple (XRP)

As you know, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs Inc. The litigation between them is still pending. Essentially, the SEC asserts that XRP is a security under US federal securities laws. In the meantime, the finalization of the lawsuit in favor of Ripple is the biggest expectation of XRP investors. Hence, this also gives a bullish sentiment to a Ripple.

Finally, Cardano (ADA) is thrown into the basket

Cryptokoin.com’As you follow, Charles Hoskinson, Co-Founder and CEO of Input Output Global (“IOG”), which is responsible for the research and development of Cardano, shared some important news about the recently postponed Vasil hard fork. This upgrade is the community’s most important upward impulse. Charles Hoskinson said on the subject:

We originally planned to hard fork with 1.35. We posted this to test net. The test net created a hafd fork under it. A lot of testing followed, both internally and in the community. A number of bugs were found: three separate bugs that resulted in three new versions of the software. And now we have 1.35.3. Looks like this will be the version to get rid of the h too.
