According to Şimşek’s statements, lease agreements will now be made via e-Government.

Şimşek also made important statements about the fight against the informal economy. Accordingly, new POS devices will be used to prevent the issuance of receipts with a low VAT rate. This will be valid from June.

Mehmet Şimşek’s statements are as follows;

“By fighting off the record, we will bring the budget deficit under control more permanently. Being unregistered means losing rights. Our intention is to make lease agreements via e-Government. We knocked on more than 420 thousand doors in the last two months and compared the information we had with the actual situation. Our goal is to increase voluntary compliance. A rent declaration must be submitted at the end of this month. It is important for us to ensure that these rental declarations are submitted.”
