Apple hasn’t even released the iPhone 15 series yet. Despite this, leaks about the iPhone 16 series, which the company will release a year later, started immediately. Allegedly, the company will finally catch up with the best Android camera phones next year by offering a 5x zoom camera.
Currently only available on iPhone 15 Pro Max. It will be in the entire iPhone 16 family next year!
Although this feature is currently limited to the iPhone 15 Pro Max model, the leak shows that the camera will be available in the entire iPhone 16 series next year.
Leaker Digital Chat Station, known from Weibo, claimed that the entire iPhone 16 series will have a 5x zoom camera, instead of just the Pro Max model. If you want a better long-range zoom but don’t want to spend a lot of money on a Pro Max phone, you can wait for the iPhone 16 family.
The leaker also claimed that the iPhone 16 Pro models will have a 48 MP main camera sensor. This isn’t a surprise, but we guess those of you expecting a 108MP or 200MP sensor as seen on some Android phones may be disappointed.
Otherwise, Digital Chat Station suggested that the phones will have the same general design and Dynamic Island. The leakster also referenced industry predictions that solid-state buttons will emerge.
Either way, it looks like you’ll have more options next year when it comes to an iPhone with long-range zoom capabilities. What are you thinking? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
