Ripple, one of the largest blockchain companies in the world and sued by the US securities regulator, made a new statement. Although it was stated that an agreement would be reached after the evidence discovery process in the case, which has been going on since December 2020, the last-minute statement changed the situation.
Ripple’s legal team, in a statement to FoxBusiness channel, emphasized that they do not want to settle with the SEC on this case. The team was confident that Gary Gensler and his team would lose, emphasizing that there would never be a compromise.
