Lack of movement in the Dax – professional investors are apparently losing interest in a rally

Dusseldorf There is still a lack of movement on the German stock market. The leading index has fluctuated in a range of around 250 points for five trading days. Today’s Thursday doesn’t change that. In the first hour of trading, the Dax was down 0.2 percent at 16,070 points and thus exactly in this range with 16,250 points on the top and 16,000 points on the bottom.

Before the start of the stock market, the Dax climbed to 16,125 points because German producer prices were positive and only rose minimally. But this rise was short-lived.

Producers of commercial products – from milk to cars – demanded an average of just 0.1 percent more than a year earlier. This is the smallest increase since December 2020.
