Frankfurt After numerous scandalous messages from the British royal family, especially from Harry and Megan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, spread from the American exile, there is good news for the royals: King Charles III. comes on British banknotes. The Bank of England unveiled the relevant images on Tuesday.

The new royal visage will feature polymer banknotes in denominations of five, ten, twenty and fifty pounds, without otherwise changing the previous design. However, the British will not get their hands on their monarch until mid-2024, when the new banknotes actually come into circulation. They will gradually replace older notes that are worn out or, if additional needs arise, new ones will be used, according to the statement from the central bank.
