Frankfurt, Dusseldorf The topic of artificial intelligence (AI) continues to fascinate investors. The most recent example is the stock of the iPhone manufacturer Apple. The paper rose to a new record high last week after it became known that the group was working on AI projects.
Accordingly, Apple is developing a competitor to the chatbot service ChatGPT – the application from the start-up OpenAI that triggered the AI hype on the stock exchange, which is responsible for a large part of the price gains in US stocks. Shares of Microsoft, the partner and main financier of OpenAI, fell about 1 percent after the reports.
This shows that despite the hype, AI is fraught with uncertainty. So how should investors position themselves? Is it still worth getting in? Should you focus on individual stocks or diversify broadly? To get closer to an answer, the Handelsblatt spoke to investment professionals who manage funds for their wealthy clients.
