Legalize or ban cannabis? This question is discussed around the world. Many countries, such as the Netherlands, Canada, Uruguay and some US states have already decriminalized hemp. Mexico or Morocco are on the verge of this.
In Germany, too, it could soon be the case if there really comes a traffic light coalition of the SPD, FDP and the Greens.
According to a recent forsa survey on behalf of RTL and ntv, only seven percent of those surveyed are of the opinion that cannabis should be generally banned. 59 percent (mostly over 60s) say that cannabis should only be allowed as a medicinal product. 30 percent of Germans are for general legalization.
