Dusseldorf An expensive company car has long been considered a status symbol for employees. But in times of steadily increasing demands on companies in the area of sustainability, it seemed to be losing importance. However, a current evaluation of the job platform Indeed paints a different picture. The number of companies that advertise a car as an additional service in job advertisements has actually increased over the past three years.
About 30,000 job offers in which company cars are mentioned appear on Indeed every month on average. The proportion of advertisements in which a company car is mentioned as an incentive has almost doubled over the past three years. The analysis also shows in which occupational fields employers most frequently provide a car.
