The iPhone 15 Plus model, like its predecessor, has a Super Retina XDR OLED screen protected by Ceramic Shild with a size of 6.7 inches and a resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels. Supported by a 60 Hz refresh rate, this screen offers a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.
The most noticeable change in this screen is that the notch is replaced by Dynamic Island. Dynamic Island, which Apple introduced into our lives with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models and attracted the attention of many brands, especially Android smartphone manufacturers, is a design that helps display notifications from applications.
Dynamic Island, which was not included in the iPhone 14 Plus released last year, was included in the entire series with the Plus model introduced this year. Dynamic Island, which is highly appreciated by users, may take a different shape depending on the notification.
The iPhone 15 Plus model included a significant upgrade over its predecessor in terms of processor. So much so that while the Apple-signature A15 Bionic is at the heart of the iPhone 14 Plus, the new smartphone is powered by the A16 Bionic. This processor went through the 4 nm fabrication process.
According to information provided by Apple, the iPhone 15 Plus processor A16 Bionic has two high-performance cores that use 20 percent less power. There is also a significant increase in efficiency compared to the previous generation.
