Minister Kacır started his address to the participants by drawing attention to the rapidly changing dynamics of the world and the effects of this change on the international order. He emphasized that advances in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship should play an important role in global competition.

Continuing his speech by focusing on the change and transformation process around the world, the Minister stated that technology and innovation-oriented countries are reshaping the global order. He stated that decisive steps have been taken to strengthen the country’s technology development, innovation and entrepreneurship infrastructure.

Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated the following:

“The world is in great change. The international order is being reshaped by countries that can respond to the challenges caused by this change with knowledge and innovation. Countries that strengthen their technology development, innovation and entrepreneurship infrastructure become leaders of global competition.

For this reason, we are taking determined steps that will strengthen our technology and innovation ecosystem. We are creating a giant R&D, innovation and innovation ecosystem that will empower us in our effort to move our country beyond the level of contemporary civilizations.

We spread our entrepreneurship culture and accelerate the marketing of our entrepreneurs’ products with our support mechanisms and infrastructure. 7 Turcorns and many success stories that emerged from our country in just 4 years are proof of how important our country is in technology entrepreneurship.

These achievements are only a part of what is actually visible. If we continue to invest in our human resources and support our entrepreneurs with financial support and qualified infrastructures, we will reach our goal of 100 Turcorns and 100 thousand technology entrepreneurs in 2030.

In this regard, we organize events such as TEKNOFEST, which allow our young people to realize their dreams, and encourage them to turn their ideas into initiatives. Events such as TEKNOFEST, which we organize in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, stand by our young people.

We will continue our work to increase our country’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and Istanbul’s brand value. We will make Istanbul one of the top 20 centers in the world by making it the global meeting point of technology startups. The Tech Visa program that we will launch soon will help us achieve this goal.

We will develop various programs to attract entrepreneurs, especially from friendly and brotherly countries, to our country. We will open the world of entrepreneurship to the youth of the Islamic geography. “We will make significant contributions to human history with the richness of our geography and our pioneering personalities.”
