Ibrahim Akman’s 5-Year Masomo Adventure Has Ended

The adventure of İbrahim Akman, the founder of Izmo Bilişim, under the umbrella of Webtekno, in the mobile game startup Masomo has come to an end as of today. In 2019, Akman signed one of the biggest mobile game sales agreements in Turkey’s history with Miniclip, a subsidiary of Tencent. Now a new era awaits him.

İbrahim Akman, the founder of İzmo Bilişim, which was founded in 2012, and Webtekno, which started broadcasting in 2013, ended his duty at Masomo, which he was the founder of and which brought the Kafa Ballu brand to the global. In 2019, with one of Turkey’s most valuable mobile game company sales agreements, Masomo transferred to Miniclip under Tencent, announced the Basketball Arena while under Akman’s management and entered the markets in the USA from the top rows.

In fact, Masomo, whose foundations were laid with the first prototypes of Head Ball designed in 2014; Along with its sequel Head Ball 2, football is seen as a popular and dominant sport. in almost all countries had succeeded. This success of Head Ball 2 brought with it the offers of many global brands by İbrahim Akman and his team. However, the final decision was to merge the company with Miniclip.

Remaining in the company for 3 more years as per the agreement made with Miniclip in 2019, Akman served as the CEO of the company during this time, as the VP of Product of the company. Sertac PicakciHe had handed it over. Before Pıçakçı took office and after the Minclip merger, the company developed Head Ball 2 and completed its work on the Basketball Arena on the other.

Basketball Arenawas a new game that brought the legacy and basic dynamics from the Head Ball series to people in markets like the USA where basketball is popular. Just like in Head Ball 2 during the World Cup periods, simultaneous campaigns to major basketball championships brought Basketbo Arena to the top in targeted markets.

After the Miniclip merger under Akman management, the company moved to its new office in İzmir and will continue to operate under the management of Pıçakçı.
