2024 - How to turn off Instagram autoplay video?

Use Instagram Web version to prevent video autoplay

The use less data feature on Instagram mobile apps mostly works. However, the usefulness of this feature also differs from device to device. But if you can’t use this feature efficiently, you can better navigate by going to instagram.com from your phone’s browser.

In the web version of Instagram, you may not find the features you are looking for and are more restricted than the mobile version. The videos have a play button on the Instagram web. You don’t have to worry about basic functions. Because you can upload posts and see your DMs using Instagram web.
