Dusseldorf In the new episode of Handelsblatt Disrupt, Editor-in-Chief Sebastian Matthes speaks to Georgian-born Tamaz Georgadze, the founder of Raisin, the fintech that, despite the reluctance of many venture capitalists, is about to complete a large round of financing.
Raisin operates the savings platforms “Weltsparen” and “Zinspilot”, which private customers can use to invest money in banks in other EU countries. Raisin himself earns through commissions.
Georgadze explains what it feels like to graduate from high school at the age of twelve and gives an insight into his work in the office of the then head of the State Council of Georgia, Eduard Shevardnadze, in the 1990s.
