George RR Martin, the creator of the Game of Thrones universe and the creator of the books on which the series is adapted, gave important information for House of the Dragon, which is still in its 1st season, in a statement today. The finale was heavily criticized by many, as other names had a say in the screenwriter’s seat of the previous series. But this time, the strings are in Martin’s hands.
When we look at the 8 episodes of the series that have been broadcast so far, we see that the shortest one is over 50 minutes and the longest one is under 70 minutes. George RR Martin said that all seasons of the series will consist of 10 episodes, just like the first season. Estimatedly, it will be waiting for us for a period of 1 hour per episode. The number of seasons, on the other hand, made the fans a little upset.
Martin said that they plan to make the series for 4 seasons and if there is no disruption, they will make the final in 2025. In other words, it will consist of 40 episodes with a total viewing time of around 40 hours. That’s actually a good amount of time for a regular series.
But since the previous series lasted 8 seasons, it was below the expectations of the fans. However, we know that this will not be the end.
