This can lead to users having their personal information and passwords stolen.
Infected codes added to plugins and themes of content management systems such as WordPress can turn websites into malicious ones. In particular, businesses can incur higher costs in this way, which they prefer to avoid paying monthly license fees.
Moreover, individuals and institutions can even be sentenced to prison under the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works and the Turkish Commercial Code.
