Fuel prices are rising

All over Germany, fuel prices are on the verge of an all-time high.

Dusseldorf While long queues form in front of the petrol stations in Great Britain, they are currently rather empty in Germany, because: The fuel prices are close to the all-time high. The prices for gasoline and diesel have been rising for months and are only a few cents below their 2012 high.

According to the ADAC car club, the price of a liter of Super E10 rose by 3.8 cents last week compared to the previous week, and diesel by as much as 4.8 cents. On a national average, consumers pay 1.647 euros for a liter of E10 and 1.526 euros for diesel. In September, fuel cost 28.4 percent more than in the previous year.
