Can artificial intelligence help to find a sensible and lucrative investment strategy?

Frankfurt “I have 500 euros and I want to get rich as quickly as possible. How should I invest the money?” – this is how my conversation with ChatGPT started.
A good three weeks later, artificial intelligence has achieved a return of around six percent for me. Not bad for an investment advisor who actually doesn’t want to be one. But the matter has several catches.
Since the US company OpenAI presented Chat-GPT in November 2022, it seems as if artificial intelligence (AI) could help in almost all situations. Why shouldn’t the system also be able to find lucrative investment strategies? My experiment begins.
ChatGPT aka Headteacher
First, I’ll get access to the OpenAI platform ChatGPT Plus so I can use the latest version of GPT. I select “new chat”, “GPT-4” and activate the Internet search with Bing.
