Recently, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been eyeing the cryptocurrency industry.
The SEC, which first launched an investigation into Kraken’s staking services, then fueled market fear with a series of securities investigations.
The latest development on the SEC side came in the last minutes. Robinhood, which has made a name for itself with the cryptocurrencies it has listed in the past, has been investigated by the SEC.
According to sources, a subpoena was sent to Robinhood by the SEC. Judging by the subpoena, the investigation appears to be related to Robinhood’s cryptocurrency listings.
