Hospitalization as an index did not work – Poland and Switzerland are becoming high-risk areas

The seven-day incidence increases slightly to 442.1 from 439.2 from the previous day. Germany’s hotspot of the past few days, Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains, is being replaced by another district in Saxony: Central Saxony. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports an incidence of over 2000 for this. The RKI records an incidence of over 1000 for another 26 of the 401 German urban and rural districts.

9. Saale-Holzland district (Thuringia) – 1414 (1372)

10. Leipzig (Saxony) – 1413 (1436)

The district of Wilhelmshaven in Lower Saxony has the lowest incidence with 81 (previous day 72).
