Frankfurt They look cozy and can be found in many new buildings: modern fireplaces. The growing fear of a gas supply stop has meanwhile caused the demand for the fireplaces among property owners to skyrocket. “With the outbreak of war, demand exploded,” according to the Central Association for Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning (ZVSHK) in Sankt Augustin.
