Historian Adam Tooze on Russia sanctions

The American magazine “New York” calls him “Galaxy Brain”. Indeed, there is little that 54-year-old economic historian Adam Tooze of Columbia University cannot talk about in a stimulating and expert manner.

From the financial crisis to climate change and the pandemic to the economic war against Putin – Tooze is a world explainer and jack of all trades. This earned him an international fan base in our out of joint world full of complex crises. Tooze was born in Great Britain and grew up in Germany.
