Creepy prelude to the already 15th season of “Grill den Henssler”. In the “Halloween Special”, Steffen Henssler’s (49) performance was particularly frightening.
The prerequisites were perfect! Moderator Laura Wontorra (32) was looking forward to the flawless Henssler: “Something that we haven’t had for a long time, because our champion is in top shape, healthy and uninjured.”
The TV chef, sure of victory, stepped in front of the audience, promising: “Everything is safe, everything in top shape.” In top shape? In the course of the program, one had doubts about it.
Ex-restaurant tester Christian Rach (64) already raved about the plates of the celebrity guests during the improv course and gave standing ovations: “I get up because I’ve never had such a good improv course. Simply perfect. Great! “

The Henssler, on the other hand, lost one cooking course after the other and was already behind with 66 to 83 points before dessert.

Yes, what was the matter with Henssler? Then came Verona Pooth (53) and presented her creepy Halloween dessert: “Sweet pumpkin cream with a horror bar”.
Of course, the food had to be prepared in a creepy way. During this task, Henssler turned completely off: “How am I supposed to make something out of such a shitty thing that looks like horror? First and foremost, I’m a cook and not a make-up artist. “
While Verona Pooth prepared her power bar as a gruesomely beautiful chocolate finger, Henssler mashed something up on the plate. When asked by Wontorra, the cook reacted bitchily: “This is a hard and a soft chair at the same time. That is my horror approach: Ne really nicely draped Kackwurst. “
Six minutes before the end of the round, Henssler announced with a grin: “I also have a nice surprise for the jury in terms of taste.” Which would be there? Henssler held still: “No, it’s secret.”
Then the jury horror cabinet appeared. The highlight: Mirja Boes (50) in a pumpkin costume. Not a highlight, however: the ugly blue dessert plate by Steffen Henssler!

After a bite, Reiner Calmund (72) frantically reached for the water glass: “Kiss my ass, the blue bar, I have to extinguish it.”
Christian Rach spat out the Hensslers dessert, Mirja Boes was sweating. Sharp attack by Henssler on the jury!
Christian Rach nevertheless tried a jury assessment: “It was all just spicy on the blue plate, it wasn’t actually edible.”
For Reiner Calmund, after all, the plate was in keeping with the task: “For me, the task is clearly done. Because it was said: horror. I only noticed horror: not palatable, not edible, disgusting. ”So Steffen Henssler defended himself with amusement:“ The topic was horror! ”

With 73 to 102 points and not a single cooking course won, the Henssler went under crashing at the start of the anniversary season.
