Since last year, doctors have been able to prescribe health apps, and health insurance companies cover the costs. The prescription app is a new form of health care that is available to everyone with statutory health insurance. Start-ups, but also pharmaceutical and tech companies, are interested in this new business area. Because the prescription app is unique in the world – until now. France has also already announced an interest in digital healthcare.
