Hacked Solana Wallet Platform Calls on Hackers: Promises This Reward!

Earlier this week, it suffered nearly $5 million in losses. wither wallet platform Slope Wallet has announced that it will pay a 10% reward (worth approximately $450,000) if the attacker returns the stolen funds.

“Legal Action Will Not Be Taken If Solana Hacker Returns The Cryptocurrency Funds He Stole”

The Slope team shared a Solana address in a tweet Friday afternoon, with an additional appeal to the thief:

“Once we receive these funds, we will make no further efforts to investigate this matter or take any legal action.”

The team gave the attacker 48 hours to return the funds and receive the reward. He added that they are working with law enforcement and TRM labs, a leading blockchain intelligence firm, to recover the stolen funds.

On Tuesday night, an attacker gained access to user seed phrases stored in plain text on Slope’s central server and cryptocurrency used to steal. This vulnerability affected thousands of users.

The Slope Wallet attack came just after another major crypto hack that impacted Nomad Bridge with $190 million ($22.4 million recovered) in the first place.

It has been said that the activities of the North Korean Lazarus group have been behind the crypto money hacking attacks recently. Cryptocurrency platform deBridge Finance recently reported that its systems were infected by North Korean hackers after a phishing attack.
