Hacettepe University is organizing the eighth HUPROG (Hacettepe University Programming Competition), one of Turkey’s most important competitions in the field of algorithmic programming. This event, which was implemented with the aim of popularizing and developing the competitive programming culture in our country, will start online on March 16 and last for 12 hours.
The first 20 teams with the highest scores will be eligible to participate in the final stage, which will take place on 23-24 March at the Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Culture Center on Hacettepe University Beytepe Campus.
The final stage will last a total of 16 hours over two days and the contestants will showcase their best programming skills from all over Turkey. Participants must only be students at universities in Turkey. An information e-mail will be sent to the teams that qualify to participate in the final.
The prize pool of the competition is strikingly large. The first team will win 30,000 TL, the second team will win 20,000 TL, the third team will win 15,000 TL, the fourth team will win 10,000 TL, the fifth team will win 5,000 TL and the sixth team will win 3,000 TL.
