The “GRIP Promi Kart Masters” was a tough fight. Moderator Kai Ebel (57), moderator Kathi Wörndl (38) and commentator Christian Danner (63) had invited eight celebrity teams who went to the start for qualifying in order to secure the ticket for the grand finale on Monday evening.
Two teams each competed against each other in direct duels, the fastest times came in the final “Race of the Giants”, which decided on the entry into the final. One professional kart driver per team supported the round.
Also there: the two daughters of Carmen (56) and Robert Geiss (57). Shania (17) had already prepared for a win: “In Monaco we have endless space for this mega-trophy.” After the race of little sister Davina (18) against Katzenberger’s husband Lucas Cordalis (54) it even saw it not so bad – it hung up the pop singer, who had to admit: “The little one was so fast. She absolutely deserved to win. “

One didn’t seem happy at all: Narumol (53) competed for “Battle of Reality Stars” and had to compete against Elena Miras (29), who raced for “Love Island” and had previously stated her driving style as “aggressive” . So Narumol was trembling a lot: “I’ve never driven a kart before. For the first time in my life! ”She preferred not to press the accelerator so hard and drove comfortably behind Miras, but kept cursing:“ Shit! ”. Afterwards she repeated her already famous words: “I’m fuck and done.”
The race was even faster with her team-mate Andrej Mangold (34). He challenged Tobias Wegener (28), who had previously revealed his favorite swear word when driving: Pissnudel. And he knew no mercy, rammed the ex-Bachelor and then wedged him in, so that both of them suddenly stopped moving. For Andrej the lap was lost – he saw no chance: “I pushed the thing through and the guy just flew through. I could not do anything!”
The final race of the giants then revealed a true series of breakdowns. After karting pro Niki Schelle (55) had been injured shortly beforehand and could no longer drive, the track had to be repaired – the start was canceled. But the next attempt also broke off: Tobi Wegener’s foot got stuck in the bike and had to be freed.
Nevertheless, the finalists could be chosen at the end of the evening. Three kart pros raced their team into the final:
► 3rd place: Helge Thomsen for “Die Wollnys” (54)
► 2nd place: Matthias Malmedie for “Battle of Reality Stars” (45)
► 1st place: Cyndie Allemann for “Die Geissens” (35)
The winners were very happy and champagne – but the spectators didn’t really get the spark.
