Season finale at “Grill den Henssler”!

Moderator Laura Wontorra (33) prepared the viewers for a very special evening: “Today we have a very special duel with Steffen Henssler. The final boss is coming today.” She meant the couple Amira (30) and Oliver Pocher (44).

Olli already had made headlines in the summer season, as he sniffed baking soda. Wontorra was gripped by a dark foreboding: “I’m so between fear and anticipation for tonight.”

There should be 500 euros for every point earned in this special edition for “We help children” – a reason to show a lot of ambition between the cooking pots.

Kitchen competition causes shocks

The Pochers were able to win the improv course, with the starter “potato and lamb’s salad in brick dough with tomato cream” Henssler got the most points.

After that, a kitchen competition awaited the duelists, which caused disturbed faces. Only Wontorra smiled as she read: “We’re going to play Shocking Questions now. If you answer wrong, it will really shock you. Because you will soon get a chic band around your upper arm. This tape could deliver electric shocks.”

The dumbfounded men were promptly strapped on, while Amira stated with concern: “Even in there.” Steffen Henssler was already panicking: “I’m a bit scared. Don’t do so much!”

A “test shock” then made the star chef yell: “Kick my ass! Are you kidding us, or what?” Amira Pocher watched the spectacle with a look at her Olli anxiously: “I don’t enjoy the game at all.”

The opponents had to hold up two full beer mugs and try to spill as little liquid as possible with each electric shock. But not only for a wrong answer there was an electric shock missed.

Wontorra explained with a cheeky grin, “If you reply and take too long, a countdown will start. Then there is still an electric shock. So answer quickly and smartly.”

Steffen Henssler already sensed sadistic intentions: “Just give us ten electric shocks each, then you’ll have your satisfaction. Because apparently that’s what the game is about.” Pocher agreed: “Exactly, it’s all about hurting!”

But Wontorra showed no mercy, the questions were followed by rows of electric shocks. However, Pocher remained suspiciously calm, while Henssler cried out loudly and spilled some liquid. Amira praised her Olli: “You are so brave.”

In the end, Pocher was able to win the game and then showed the remains of his electric shock experiences on his arm as proof: “That’s Twilight. I got bitten here!”

The Pochers defeated Henssler

But the pain was quickly forgotten. For the dessert “fig dumplings with sesame sauce”, the Pochers received more praise than one had ever heard.

Christian Rach (65) couldn’t stop raving: “Tonight I’m experiencing the best food this season. That just blew me away.”

There were ten points for the Pochers, who had performed under the guidance of cooking coach Martin Klein (45).

Jana Ina Zarrella (45) and Reiner Calmund (73) even insisted on awarding eleven points – an exception that was gladly made for a good cause. At the end of the evening, Oliver and Amira Pocher defeated Steffen Henssler with 116 to 113 points.

This raised 114,500 euros for “We help children”, which Vox rounded up to 120,000 euros in the end. But you are happy to endure a few small shocks.
