TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries) delivered the new ANKA-S and AKSUNGUR SİHAs to the Naval Forces at the end of last March. Now, AKSUNGUR, which is used in the Blue Homeland-2022 exercise conducted in the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean, broke new ground and struck the ship.
The Navy took delivery of the new ANKA and AKSUNGUR UAVs!
Defense Industry Presidency announced in a post that the Naval Forces Command bought 2 ANKA-S and one AKSUNGUR.
AKSUNGUR hit the ship with MAM-L!
Although there was no separate explanation, as we can see in the shared video, a MAM-L (Laser Guided Mini Intelligent Ammunition) fired by TAI’s AKSUNGUR SİHA hit the ship with a full hit.
In the posts made by the Ministry of National Defense, it was said:
The Blue Homeland-2022 Exercise conducted by our Naval Forces in the Black Sea, Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean; 122 ships were successfully completed with the participation of 41 airborne units, amphibious marine infantry units, amphibious assault teams, SAT and SAS task teams and coastal units.
In the Blue Homeland-2022 Exercise; Our Land and Air Forces, Gendarmerie General Command, Coast Guard Command and various public institutions and organizations took charge.
